I. Principle Overview


The high-pressure homogenizer employs a reciprocating plunger pump to draw samples through a single-phase valve into the high-pressure pump head. The sample is then forced into a narrow gap (the homogenizing valve). As particles pass through this valve, they undergo extreme compression at pressures as high as 1000 bar. Upon exiting the valve, the particles return to atmospheric pressure. This instantaneous pressure release achieves uniform and fine particle refinement. Generally, a greater pressure differential yields superior homogenization. During this process, the extreme velocity and unique trajectory generate explosive forces alongside immense shear and impact forces, collectively achieving excellent homogenization of the sample.


In summary, the homogenizing effect of the homogenizer primarily stems from three internal mechanisms: cavitation effect, shear effect, and impact effect.

III. Core Component Description:

• Core Pressure Module: Split-type structure forged from SAF2205 ultra-high hardness special stainless steel, undergoes solution treatment and ultrasonic flaw detection, then heat-treated and machined.

• Plunger Rod: Fully ceramic construction with surface finish within 0.01 microns, reducing wear on plunger seals and extending seal lifespan. Features high abrasion resistance and is reversible for use on either end.

• Plunger Seal: Manufactured from Italian-imported ultra-high molecular weight composite material, offering exceptional pressure resistance and self-lubricating properties.

• Pressure Adjustment Handle: Utilizes Italian ELESA components with ergonomic design, enabling manual pressure increase and decrease.

• Handle Pressure Adjustment Spring: Features German Moebel springs with high elasticity and extended service life.

• Homogenizer Valve Assembly: Constructed from U.S.-imported materials, featuring highly wear-resistant diamond and special hard alloy components. Dual-sided design doubles the service life of the homogenizer valve.

• Pressure Sensor: Custom  high-precision pressure sensor with a measurement range of 0~2000 bar. Measurement accuracy to 1 bar, sensor precision 0.5% FS.

• Main Motor: ABB 1.5 kW, 8-pole high-power motor ensures stable operation under high pressure.

• Heavy-Duty Bearings: Power-end heavy-duty bearings utilize Swedish SKF components.

• Variable Frequency Flow System: Bosch flow controller enables precise regulation of equipment flow rates.

• Transmission System: Imported belt drive with synchronous pulley reduction design.

• Feed valve seat: Custom-made from Stellite alloy (diamond material available upon request).

• Material temperature control system: External cooling system.
