I. Product Introduction

The BIONOON-64P Non-Contact High-Throughput DNA Fragmenter uses an isothermal, non-contact method to fragment, homogenize, and mix up to 64 samples at once—all through closed centrifuge tubes. It is suitable for sterile, ultra-microvolume disruption and chromosome fragmentation, and is specifically designed for sample pretreatment in next-generation sequencing (NGS) DNA samples and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays. It can process as little as 5 μL of ultra-microvolume samples, making it ideal for precious samples.



II. Product Features

1. High Throughput: Processes up to 64 samples simultaneously in a single run, ensuring high experimental efficiency.

2. Cross-Contamination Prevention: No frequent probe operation is required; each sample is contained in a separate, fully closed test tube to avoid cross-contamination. Meanwhile, the sealed environment effectively prevents aerosols or foams generated during sonication from spreading into the surroundings, eliminating potential biological hazards.

3. Excellent Repeatability & High Accuracy: Ultrasonic parameters are flexibly adjustable, and experimental procedures are standardized—ensuring good experimental repeatability and reliable results.

4. Superior Sample Protection: Adopts 4°C low-temperature water bath sonication, which enables uniform energy distribution and effective sonication. The low-temperature environment prevents sample denaturation.

5. Rich Configurations: Compatible with multiple adapters (0.1mL–15mL) to meet the experimental needs of various sample volumes.

6. Low Experimental Cost: No special proprietary consumables are required, resulting in relatively low experimental costs.

 

III. Working Principle

Through a piezoelectric transducer, electrical signals are converted into high-frequency ultrasonic signals, which generate millions of molecular "cavitation bubbles." The transient hydrodynamic shear force produced when these "cavitation bubbles" expand and burst within seconds is used to fragment, homogenize, and mix samples in an isothermal, non-contact manner.
