Product Introduction

The T-rack type vacuum freeze-dryer is mainly used in medicine, pharmaceuticals, biological research, chemical engineering, and food industries. Items treated with freeze-drying can be stored long-term, and after rehydration, they recover to the pre-freeze-dried state while maintaining original biochemical properties.

This model is equipped with 4 rubber sealing valves as standard (for hanging 4 ampoules), with optional configurations of 8-12 valves; customizations are available for special requirements. It is suitable for the preservation of microbial strains (such as bacteria and fungi) using ampoules—a common method in laboratories known as "ampoule sealing". After freeze-drying, samples are sealed in small ampoules, offering advantages including long preservation period, low mutation rate, suitability for large-scale preservation, and wide application range.


I. Working Principle

The drying principle of the vacuum freeze-dryer is mainly based on the law of three states change of matter. When a substance is cooled to a certain low temperature, its molecular motion slows down and forms a solid state. In a vacuum environment, the external pressure on water molecules is reduced, and the distance between molecules increases—allowing water molecules to sublimate directly from solid to gas to achieve drying. This drying method preserves the original nutritional components and color of the material, while preventing oxidation and deterioration of heat-sensitive substances.

 

II. Application Scope

The T-rack type vacuum freeze-dryer is widely used in medicine, pharmaceuticals, biological research, chemical engineering, and food industries. Items processed by freeze-drying are easy to store for a long time; after adding water, they can return to the state before freeze-drying and retain their original biochemical properties.
